Welcome to the Howland BSA Troop 122 website! BSA Troop 122 is chartered by the Howland United Methodist Chuch, located at 730 Howland-Wilson Road in Warren, Ohio. We are part of the Arrowhead District of the Greater Western Reserve Council.

Troop 122 serves youth in Howland, Vienna, and the surrounding communities to further the Mission of the Boy Scouts of America:  To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

This is not a Troop event/activity, however if there are several Scouts registered to attend, we may coordinate car-pooling.

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT): June 12-18, 2016

NOTE...this class will fill up FAST! Send in your application and deposit now to hold your space!

If you will be age 13 and hold the rank of First Class by the start of the course (06/12/16), you should consider enrolling in NYLT. The aims of NYLT are to give each participant a basic knowledge of various leadership skills while helping them relate these skills to their own leadership responsibilities; to give them the confidence and knowledge necessary to run their unit program; to provide an opportunity to share ideas and experiences with Scouts from other units; and of course, to have FUN!

Today's youth are spending more time than ever using digital media for education, research, socializing, and fun. To help families and volunteers keep youth safe while online, the Boy Scouts of America introduced the Cyber Chip. In developing this exciting new tool, the BSA teamed up with content expert NetSmartz®, part of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children® and training expert for many law enforcement agencies.
