Welcome to the Howland Troop 122 Website !

Welcome to the Howland BSA Troop 122 website! BSA Troop 122 is chartered by the Howland United Methodist Chuch, located at 730 Howland-Wilson Road in Warren, Ohio. We are part of the Arrowhead District of the Greater Western Reserve Council.

Troop 122 serves youth in Howland, Vienna, and the surrounding communities to further the Mission of the Boy Scouts of America:  To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. 

2017 Jamboree

It is not too early to start planning (and saving $$) for the 2017 Boy Scout Jamboree. The Jamboree is from July 19 to July 28, 2017 at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve. The Council Contingent Member fee is $975. Part of the eligibility requirements include:

Cost if $5 to cover lunch, dinner, and then breakfast on Sunday. Also, bring a canned good. Other things to bring: fishing pole and bait, several changes of clothes (just in case), pocket knife, 10 essentials (bug spray!!), and mess kit. We'll work on some Scout fundamentals to help first year Scouts with rank requirements and sharpen skills for our tenured Scouts.

If you have registered for the September Orienteering Campout at Camp Manatoc you need to make your $35.00 payment at the 8/24 troop meeting.
